"My painting style has always been about “stepping back to see the big picture”. This picture of our lives is always woven with the people that shaped us and formed us, be they our family, our friends, or in this case, a man with a passion to express an idea at the very heart of his cultural identity.

Art itself is an idea, that we as painters try express on canvas. In the case of the Prime Ministers project, it was in fact Myron Zaidel who came up with the idea, and his role in this collaboration was pivotal."
